God's Design for Marriage

2024 Fall Theology Conference

This year Dr Jim Newheiser is our speaker for the Fall Theology Conference of Christ the Redeemer Church. Jim Newheiser will lay out for us God’s design for marriage. He will take us to Scripture to tell us the keys to strengthening a marriage, and how to communicate better and resolve conflict in marriage. Jim Newheiser will show us how to apply God’s transforming grace to marriage.

Jim Newheiser (MA, DMin, Westminster Theological Seminary) is director of the Christian Counseling program and associate professor of practical theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. He is a fellow of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and a board member of the Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals. Jim Newheiser and his wife Caroline have been married since 1979.

Please note that, though the topic of this conference is marriage, this is not a marriage conference. It is our Fall Theology Conference and is geared toward teaching families (and singles!) about God’s design for marriage. All are welcome!

What is the Fall Festival?

The Fall Festival is an annual tradition of fun, food, and fellowship! There will be plenty of games for the children: face-painting, a bounce house, relay races, and more. It is also a great way to meet everyone who has come to the Fall Theology Conference.

Fellowship with our church, ask Jim Newheiser and his wife Caroline questions that are on your mind, and enjoy a relaxing autumn day in Iowa!
